Overview
Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is a magical oasis nestled in the heart of the stunning Lowveld area of the Limpopo Province. Our location is simply unbeatable - just 10 km North of Hoedspruit. Eastgate airport (Hoedspruit HDS) is a mere 25 km from the Lodge, and only a short distance from the awe-inspiring “Panorama Route” along the majestic Drakensberg Escarpment.
As part of the Balule Nature Reserve, we are proud to be incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park Management Area, ensuring that our guests can enjoy traversing on over 12,000 hectares of pristine wilderness.
Our charming lodge offers six thatched rondavels, each one featuring a king or twin beds and a private en-suite bathroom. We also have two sets of interleading rooms, each room with a king or twin beds and their own facilities. All the rooms have fans, air-conditioners and a bar fridge, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
But, that’s not all - we also have a luxurious suite that goes above and beyond our other rooms, complete with a private pool that is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the African sun.
We’re proud to say that our lodge has just had its 4-star TGCSA rating renewed, so you can be sure that you are in good hands when you stay with us.
When you are not out on game drives, you can browse around our large curio shop or relax in a hammock alongside the sparkling pool. Alternatively, you could read, chat and have a drink in our outdoor bar and lounge, where you can enjoy breath-taking views of the bushveld overlooking our well-frequented waterhole.
We have a variety of meal settings, be it breakfast in our indoor dining room, lunch on the lawn under a canopy of trees, or dinner in the boma where we serve up delicious campfire meals that will leave you feeling satisfied and content.

Impala Lily Suite
Take your safari experience to the next level in our Impala Lily Suite. Superior and extremely private lodgings, furnished with a permanent queen bed, your own private swimming pool, indoor and outdoor showers, romantic free-standing bath, and nothing but unspoilt nature as a view. Take this all in with the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting for you on arrival.
In room amenities include insect-proofing, air conditioning & an overhead fan, mini bar, tea and espresso making facilities, and an electronic safe.

Twin / King room
These typical African dwellings are round huts with characterful thatch roofs. Fully insect proofed, they have been appointed with your comfort and pleasure in mind.
International multi-plugs, personal safes, overhead fans and air conditioning are at your disposal, as well as free, unlimited WIFI access.
The al fresco showers bring you closer to nature and there’s no finer sensation than taking a steamy shower with the twinkling stars or a breath-taking Bushveld sunrise.
The rondavels are king or twin bedded and there is space for an extra bed to convert it to a triple room.

These rooms follow the style and form of our rondavels. Each room has its own entrance, facilities and an al fresco shower. Fully insect proofed, they have been appointed with your comfort and pleasure in mind. The interleading doors can be locked from both rooms for your privacy.
