What you can do
A little something for everyone...
Bring your mountain-bike and explore the reserve, collect mineral samples, view the incredible Namibian night sky, discover the world of the Hartmann's Mountain Zebra . . . there is so much, you'll have to return to Etusis Lodge to do it all! And last, but not least... the fascinating little on-site museum where you can see artefacts from a earlier times.
Guided or un-guided Nature Walk
Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll or climb a mountain, there is a route to suit you at Etusis Lodge, and there's plenty of wildlife to see wherever you go. We also offer full day walking excursion in the cooler months (between May-August) with a picnic lunch on route.
Horse-riding
Enjoy an exhilarating ride through the Reserve on one of our Basotho horses specially selected to suit you - indemnity required. We also offer riding lessons for children, this is an ideal way to get children interested in riding and leave them with treasured memories.
Nature and Scenic Drives
Etusis Lodge offers drives through the Game Reserve using both 4x4 vehicles and eco-friendly horse-drawn carriages! Amazingly varied scenery and hopefully good sightings of the wildlife.
