Overview

Safari Explorers Camp is located in an ideal spot within the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, right in the core of wildlife activity.

The camp is fully equipped with 4 African-style bungalows and 2 large tents. Guests can sit back comfortably at the entrance of their room and read a book, while the camp cooks prepare a meal at the campfire for a dinner served under the African stars. From this base, the camp offers activities such as the traditional game drive or night safari in a specially adapted 4x4 vehicle with comfortable seats. Walking safaris usually take place in the morning with the help of an experienced guide following the tracks of animals in the bush, and allowing guests to experience Africa close up.

Singita Explore features custom-designed tents with functional luxury touches, exclusive settings in the Serengeti and a true escape from modern-day distractions – immersing guests in an authentic wilderness experience unlike any other.

Designed for private use, the camp accommodates a maximum of six tented suites catering for families or friends, and is pitched and set up based on the requirements of each booking. The full staff complement includes a private Field Guide, chef and host, ensuring that activities, game drives and mealtimes can be arranged entirely according to guests’ preference.

Set in Singita Grumeti, which forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, the camp provides guests with access to a 350,000-acre concession on the renowned migratory route traversed annually by more than a million wildebeest.
