Built in 1859, shortly after the town’s establishment, this elegant Edwardian guesthouse boasts a rich history and a well-earned reputation for personal service and attention to detail.
The Lodge offers a choice of 19 thoughtfully appointed rooms, including 10 Classic Rooms, 2 Garden Suites, 1 Orchard Suite and 3 modern apartments with two-bedroom suites - perfect for both overnight stays, longer getaways and for families. Each room is designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring air conditioning, heaters, hairdryers, and thoughtful touches such as complimentary Muscadel (a local specialty), mineral water, and fresh fruit.

Dining is an integral part of the Mimosa experience, with The Restaurant at Mimosa Lodge renowned for its wholesome cuisine, crafted from fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Many of the vegetables and herbs used in the kitchen are grown in Mimosa’s own garden.
