Stonecutters Lodge

There are two family houses, Trout House (3 bedrooms) and Stone Cottage (2 bedrooms) and six Cobbles studios each suitable for 2 guests.STONE MANOR is the luxurious gathering point for guests at Stonecutters Lodge, with lounge/dining area, the pub and the conference boardroom. The front verandah overlooks a large natural pond with a bubbling waterfall where guests may enjoy breakfast or sundowners on the wooden deck jutting over the water.

THE COBBLES STUDIOS are deluxe self-catering suites. There are six en-suite (shower only) studios with kitchenette, each sleeping two people. Built as three freestanding units with under tile and under carpet heating, the studios nestle among tall pine trees with dramatic views of the distant mountains from the covered decks.
The interiors are stylishly furnished with king or twin beds and the decor has an African ambience. DStv is provided with a selection of channels.
A gas braai/barbeque is built-in on the deck of each studio next to comfortable cane furniture.

THE TROUT HOUSE is a well-appointed double story stone house overlooking the two dams. There are three bedrooms, all en-suite, two of which have wheel-chair access.
Whether darkness finds you swapping fishing stories at the thatched lapa bonfire next to the dams, or sipping port indoors at the cozy fireplace, guests cannot fail to be enchanted with Trout House.

STONE COTTAGE, with elevated views over the estate, is a well-appointed country style cottage, nestling on the edge of a pine forest in a private setting. The large main bedroom is en suite and the smaller second bedroom has an adjacent shower only bathroom. Both lead onto an open plan, comfortably furnished lounge (with TV and selected DStv channels) and well-equipped kitchen There are two covered patios with built-in braai/barbeque. For those seeking quiet, comfort and complete seclusion, Stone Cottage, with its cozy fireplace is idyllic.

CONFERENCING: Stonecutters Lodge is ideal for exclusive management meetings, strategic planning sessions and team-building getaways. The boardroom is well equipped, including data projector for big screen projection of presentations, videos, DVDs and DStv.
Up to 20 delegates can be seated in a variety of configurations and day conferences are catered for.
There is a selection of varied team-building activities to choose from. With the excellent waters available at the lodge, a fly-fishing clinic with expert tuition can be arranged including a competition with prizes.
With a total of eleven rooms available small conferences can take over the entire lodge and are assured of exclusivity as well as excellent accommodation, meals and service.

FLY-FISHING: Stonecutters Lodge lies between Dullstroom and Lydenburg, in the heart of South Africa's fly and trout fishing territory and offers three kilometers of Dorps River fishing.
