Sungulwane Private Game Lodge

Sungulwane Private Game Lodge is an exclusive, Big 5 Safari lodge situated on Zuka Private Game Reserve. With just 8 private suites, accommodating a maximum of 20 guests, it’s the ultimate intimate African bush experience for you and a loved one, friends or the whole family.

Our experienced guides share their knowledge and passion with you on twice daily game drives, bringing the flora and fauna to life; not only do you see sightings of Africa’s Big 5 but the other iconic species such as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, impala and hippo.

Each suite is embedded into the thick Red Ivory Forest giving you the feeling of sleeping in the tree canopies – in complete harmony with nature. An extensive private deck and large stack-back doors and outdoor showers allow for endless stargazing or daydreaming over uninterrupted views of the valley.

Sungulwane has a contemporary African design and architecture which is inspired by traditional African culture bought together by organic textures and shapes. Sungani Lodge

Family owned and operated; Sungani Lodge is set in the natural beauty of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park situated on the edge of an enormous lagoon. Sheltered by magnificent indigenous trees, the lodge blends seamlessly into the landscape. Carefully curated interiors showcase a love of raw materials, classic lines and longevity. The entire lodge is built on elevated decking. The relaxed ambiance is complimented by al fresco dining, cosy bar area and lounging areas that melt into the incredible view. Limited to seven luxury custom designed airconditioned guest tents set atop polished concrete floors offering approximately 1150 square feet indoors with an adjoining deck and private plunge pool.

A passion for Africa and each family member’s unique set of skills have wrought Sungani Lodge and Kulandila Camp. It is a joy to tell you that the majority of what you will find at both properties has been created and hand built by the family and local people, transforming this remote area of the South Luangwa National Park from a state of neglect into something quite extraordinary. The inclusive transfer to the properties is a short 20-minute flight from Mfuwe in the Sungani aircraft.

Sustainable tourism must be the goal to ensure that the wherewithal needed to conserve and protect is available to continue to improve the lives of all. The aim is to give guests new knowledge through experiences and in turn allow a deeper appreciation of what their contribution makes possible. Solio Lodge

Solio Lodge is located inside Solio Reserve, part of a private ranch and home to a diverse population of wildlife. Internationally recognised as the most successful private rhino reserve in Kenya, Solio is home to hundreds of rhinos, both black and white, which live harmoniously alongside numerous other species including buffalo, zebra, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah and plains game such as eland, oryx, impala, waterbuck, Thompson’s gazelle and warthog.

Solio’s array of exciting activities cater to all energy levels. Enjoying the magnificent wild outlook with views of Mount Kenya is definitely an option, but so is walking, mountain biking, trout fishing, horse riding and a 4×4 safari in the rhino sanctuary. Relax with a massage or beauty treatment, or opt for an adrenalin filled helicopter adventure to explore remoter corners of Kenya.  

The lodge has just five cosy and luxurious cottages, each one with a spacious ensuite and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, making the most of the panoramic views. The cuisine is vibrant, nutiritous and bursting with fresh flavours, with many of the ingredients grown in their own organic kitchen garden. Guests can enjoy bush picnics, lazy lunches on the deck overlooking the sanctuary or private dining on their cottage vernanda.   

Siviti Timbavati Plains

Set in the vast panoramas of the Thornybush Nature Reserve, on the seasonal Timbavati River, Siviti offers you a truly personalised, secluded wilderness experience – a seamless blend of Big Five encounters and 5-star luxury that restores body and soul.

The lavish, air-conditioned accommodation is limited to just 18 guests in seven high-lofted thatched suites and the seperate Villa. While each suite is discreetly positioned, with its own elevated viewing deck and private plunge pool to ensure a unique and private bush experience, the opportunity to reserve the entire camp for your exclusive use is a possibility.

Boasting breathtaking views of the Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura volcanoes and surrounded by high-altitude forests, Singita Kwitonda Lodge offers an experience unlike any of Singita’s other destinations.
