Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch

The Kalahari Desert dominates most parts of eastern and south-eastern Namibia. Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch is an oasis in midst of the imposing parallel dunes, conveying an atmosphere of freedom, pristine nature, warmth and safety. As the logo suggests, the ranch values conservation and education.

Angama Safari Camp

Angama Safari Camp is a light-footprint tented camp, accommodating up to eight guests in four lovely en-suite tents sited deep in the Mara Triangle and moving amidst the Great Migration between July and September. This unique camp captures the romance and adventure of the glorious Golden Age of safaris, yet with a lightness of spirit that will both surprise and delight guests.

Surrounded by the mega herds during the Migration season and abundant resident wildlife throughout the year, Angama Safari Camp embraces a fresh and uncluttered approach to mobile safari camp design, the tents have been turned to landscape orientation to maximise the light and views across the plains. The interiors echo the fresh approach to design of its sister camp, Angama Mara.

With a safari vehicle and Guide, safaris can start at sunrise and end after sunset, arriving back at the safari camp where the team are waiting to take care of each guest with gentle and warm Kenyan service.

Angama Mara

Angama Mara is a remarkable safari lodge set high above the floor of Africa’s Great Rift Valley where days are spent exploring its incredible wildlife diversity, and guests are always spoiled for choice. With two intimate camps of just fifteen glass-fronted Tented Suites each, guests experienc tailor-made safari days and a famously warm Kenyan welcome. Guests enjoy hot-air ballooning, walking safaris, garden-to-table lunches in the Shamba, hosted photographic safaris, and time spent learning more about Maasai culture throughout the lodge, including a visit to the Masaai Mamas who create bespoke beadwork items — or simply do nothing at all.

Angama Amboseli

Angama Amboseli is an intimate lodge in the heart of the 5,700-acre private Kimana Sanctuary and the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Set within a forest of towering Fever Trees where some of Africa’s last Super Tuskers roam — elephants with tusks so large they sweep along the ground as they walk — Angama Amboseli is a gentle start or finish to any East African Safari.

With just 10 Guest Suites (including two sets of family, or interconnected, suites), it’s an intimate lodge with all of Angama’s signatures: incredible views, contemporary African design, intuitive guiding and warm Kenyan hospitality.

The Guest Area offers flexible indoor-outdoor dining with a baraza to wind down the days by the fire, telling stories with a drink in hand or marshmallows for roasting. The nearby Studios house a Safari Shop, Games Room, Art Gallery, Weaving Studio and the Photographic Studio, perfect for capturing Amboseli’s iconic scenes. The raised rim-flow Swimming Pool features a drinking trough just below, made especially for resident herds.

Anderssons At Ongava

Central to the design of the new Anderssons at Ongava is the connection to the wild, and it is most keenly felt at the waterhole and nearby underground viewing hide. Here guests have a water level view of the prolific wild and birdlife on Ongava Game Reserve, in a setting that inspires intimacy without intrusion.

A centrally positioned infinity-edge swimming pool and surrounding lounge area allows for relaxing in sheltered nooks with views of the waterhole and beyond.

The social area, where guests gather for meals and to meet fellow wildlife enthusiasts, guides and naturalists, encompasses an undercover and open-air dining area, a spacious lounge and bar, a sunken observation terrace, and open fireplaces to take away the winter chill.

For specialist photographic parties, there is a dedicated photographic nook for review and editing of images. Completing the camp are features such as a uniquely Namibian curio shop, library, complimentary Wi-Fi, and connectivity to the research data developed over years of diligent and cutting edge scientific endeavours on Ongava.

A short walk away with the camp’s bounds is the Ongava Research Centre where resident scientists are at home in the lab and within the Game Reserve. Guests to interface with the science and research will primarily take place at the Ongava Visitor Centre, where at their leisure, guests are encouraged to meander through the self-guided exhibition area. The adjacent 36-seat auditorium is designed for interactive presentations and discussions.
